Scientific program of the Rotterdam congress included exciting presentations, active audience and lots of interesting posters. Professor Tabassome Simon received Life-time achievement award, professor Fabrizio de Ponte received Life-time achievement in clinical pharmacology education award and Jesse Swen was Scientific Award winner. Additionally, poster awards were given to talented young clinical pharmacologists.

World Smart Medication Day, organized by the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR), is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about the safe and effective use of medications.
